Ranallo To Attend New Jersey Devils Development Camp

Marcello Ranallo will compete against top NHL draft picks next week at the NJ Devils Development Camp.

STORRS, Conn. - University of Connecticut recent graduate Marcello Ranallo (Burnaby, B.C.) has been selected to compete at the New Jersey Devils Development Camp beginning Monday, July 16 at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. Ranallo is the second UConn player to compete in the summer prospects camps, joining junior forward Brant Harris who recently spent a week with the Washington Capitals.

The camp will include recent New Jersey Devils draft picks along with top college skaters and recent graduates.

Ranallo graduated this past May with a degree in geography. In four years with the Huskies, Ranallo set the record for games played, finishing his career with 148 appearances. He notched 19 goals and 47 assists for 66 points in four years. As a senior, Ranallo served as an assistant captain and finished the year with four goals and 15 assists for 19 points while leading the Huskies to the AHA Quarterfinals.
