Hockey Season Ticket Sales Hit Program High #IceBus

STORRS, Conn. - With just over 60 days left until the start of the season but season ticket sales are going strong for UConn men's hockey at the XL Season in 2015-16.  With the days clicking off the summer calendar, the Huskies have set a program all-time season ticket record with 2,219 sold for the coming season.

UConn will play a 15-game home schedule at the XL Center in downtown Hartford opening with college hockey's newest program, the Arizona State Sun Devils on Friday, October 16th.  The Huskies led Hockey East in home attendance last season, averaging 5,396 fans per game at the XL Center.  UConn set a new program high in season ticket sales last season at 2,207.

Husky Hockey fans can still purchase their 2015-16 season tickets by visiting  Tickets for the 15-game schedule work out to just $15.00 per game for adults and $10.00 per game for youth. 

The home schedule is highlighted by non-conference match-ups with Arizona State, Army, Brown and in-state rivals Quinnipiac and Sacred Heart.  The Huskies enter their second season of play in the nation's top-hockey conference, Hockey East, and will play 10 league games at XL Center.  Defending National Champion Providence as well as NCAA Tournament participants Boston College and Boston University highlight the Hockey East slate.
