Men's Soccer Adds Three ProHealth Spring Clinics

STORRS, Conn. – 
With the spring schedule underway, the UConn men’s soccer team will host three free youth clinics with ProHealth Physicians throughout the month of April.

Boys and girls in eighth grade or below are eligible to participate in the clinics free-of-charge. The first clinic is scheduled for Saturday, April 16 at Addison Park in Glastonbury, Conn. prior to kickoff between UConn and St. John’s. The second clinic will take place on Friday, April 22 at 5:30 p.m. at the Bristol Soccer Complex before the final clinic rounds out on Saturday, April 23 at Tolland High School prior to the start of the Huskies’ match against Hofstra.

As a program, UConn has ranked No. 1 in the nation in attendance eight times since 1998 and has been in the top-five in each of the last 17 seasons.

Over the past 19 years, the team has won nine conference regular season championships and four conference Tournament titles.  Connecticut has made two trips to the NCAA national semifinals, captured a National Championship and have made 17 NCAA Tournament appearances.



The program finished unbeaten in nine of its final 10 matches in 2015, reaching the championship game of the American Athletic Conference tournament in Tampa, Fla.
