STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men’s soccer spring match at Hartford, originally scheduled for Thursday, April 7 at 8 p.m., has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 21 at 8 p.m. at Al-Marzook Field.
The Huskies are in the midst of a five-match spring schedule, topping Boston College, 1-0, in their spring opener on April 2. Following Connecticut’s match with the Hawks, the team will travel to Gillette Stadium to challenge the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer on April 10 at 11 a.m. Following the trip to Foxborough, UConn will take on former Big East rival St. John’s at Addison Park in Glastonbury, Conn. at 1 p.m. on April 16 before rounding out the five-match schedule on April 23 with a 7 p.m. tilt against Hofstra at Tolland High School.
UConn is coming off a 10-6-6 2015 season in which it earned a berth into the NCAA Tournament for the 17thtime in the last 18 seasons. Throughout the year, 42,054 fans came to watch the Huskies at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium, including the No. 2 average mark in the country with 3,666 fans per match.
