    STORRS, Conn. - University of Connecticut men’s soccer junior goalkeeper Andre Blake (May Pen, Jamaica) has been named to a pool of players for the Jamaican National Team for three upcoming CONCACAF World Cup qualifying matches and two international “friendlies”.

    Jamaica will play in friendly matches vs. Tottenham Hotspur of London and the Premier League on Thursday in the Bahamas at Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium on Nassau Paradise Island. Jamaica will then meet the Bahamas National Team on May 31 in Nassau.

    The three World Cup qualifying matches that Blake will play in will all be at National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica – vs. Mexico on June 4, vs. United States on June 7 and vs. Honduras on June 11.

    Blake has started 47 games for the Huskies over the past two seasons and is a two-time All-American selection. He is also a two-time BIG EAST Conference Goalkeeper of the Year.
