STORRS, Conn. – The University of Connecticut men’s soccer team will hosts its annual Media Day and a free Coaches Clinic on Aug. 19. as announced by head Coach Ray Reid on Tuesday.
Local media outlets and high school soccer coaches from all around will have the chance to watch the Huskies train from 8-10 a.m. at the practice field behind Joseph J. Morrone Stadium. The training session is being run in conjunction with the Connecticut Soccer Coaches Association Coaching Clinic. Following training, UConn strength and conditioning coach Chris West will showcase a fitness session from 10-11 a.m.
After coach West’s presentation, there will be a question and answer session with either Reid, associate head coach John Deeley or Tim O’Donohue as well as media availability with several Connecticut players. A catered meal provided by the coaches association will be available during the Q&A, which will take place in between the practice field and Morrone Stadium.
