PROVIDENCE, R.I. – A pair of UConn men’s soccer games will be streamed live on the American Digital Network in the month of October, as announced by the league on Thursday morning when it unveiled the network’s 18-game fall schedule.
The Huskies kick off the broadcast schedule on Saturday, Oct. 1 when they travel to Tulsa to challenge the Golden Hurricane at 8 p.m. ET. The two programs, which met in the American Athletic Conference championship a season ago, each received votes in the preseason NSCAA poll.
Two weeks later, the Huskies welcome USF to Joseph J. Morrone Stadium on Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. on the American Digital Network. Connecticut won two of three tilts against the Bulls in 2015, including a league tournament semifinal in Tampa in November.
“We’re excited to have two of our matches streamed by The American,” said 20th-year UConn head coach Ray Reid. “It’ll be great for our fans to be able to watch our team compete against high-level competition on the road and at home.”
Reid and the Huskies opened preseason activities on Tuesday with team meetings before hitting the practice pitch on Wednesday morning for the first time as a team. Connecticut opens its two-game exhibition slate on Sunday, Aug. 14 when it welcomes UMass to Storrs for a 7 p.m. tilt.
