STORRS, Conn. - TopDrawerSoccer.com has come out with a ranking to project the postseason NCAA Tournament qualifiers and has listed the UConn men's soccer team as the No. 19 team among the 48-team field.
The Tournament 48 ranking is a running attempt to project the postseason college soccer tournament qualifiers, including every automatic conference berth. TopDrawerSoccer.com will release new rankings every Monday throughout the season.
North Carolina was tagged as the top team, while Akron and Maryland were picked second and third, respectively.
UConn will face six teams in the top 48 during the 2010 regular season, including Maryland (3), Boston College (11) and St. John's (12). South Florida (15), Notre Dame (24) and Harvard (29) will also face the Huskies as all three programs will visit Storrs, Conn. this season.
