Less than 200 tickets remain for the matches against St. John's and Notre Dame.


STORRS, Conn. - The upcoming men’s soccer matches against BIG EAST rivals St. John’s on September 22 and Notre Dame on September 29 have less than 200 tickets remaining. Fans can order tickets at or by calling 1-877-AT-UCONN.

For both matches, fans are encouraged to arrive early due to the increased traffic associated with the projected sell-out crowds. Both contests are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. The gates will open at 6 p.m.

Maximum capacity at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium is 5,100. The Huskies are currently averaging 4,218 fans per match. That average is higher than 220 NCAA Division I men's basketball programs in 2011-12.

Tickets are still available for the match at home against Boston College on Tuesday, September 18. Boston College and UConn both earned No. 1 seeds in the 2011 NCAA Tournament. The Eagles of the Atlantic Coast Conference are currently ranked No. 24 in the latest NSCAA rankings.

The Huskies are currently 4-0-1 and No. 4 in the NSCAA rankings and No.1 in the latest Soccer America poll. UConn will play at Harvard on Friday, September 14 at 4 p.m. That game can be heard live on, 91.7 fm.
