STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men’s soccer team and head coach Ray Reid are partnering with the United Soccer Coaches (USC) for a nationwide event this week, as the Huskies will participate in USC Opening Training Week and will open their practice on Thursday.
The USC initiative provides an opportunity for coaches from all levels and backgrounds to experience new environments and observe high-level training sessions. UConn is one of several soccer programs in the state to participate.
The Huskies’ training session will be on Thursday afternoon from 2 p.m. (ET) to 4 p.m. (ET) in the Shenkman Training Center. The UConn coaching staff will be available for questions at the conclusion of training.
