STORRS, Conn. (November 8, 2007) - University of Connecticut men's soccer All-American Julius James (Maloney Gardens, Trinidad) is featured in this week's Lowe's Senior CLASS Award newsletter. The information is centered on James' accomplishments in the classroom, given that his feats on the field are already widely known.

James is working hard in the classroom to prepare himself to give back to his homeland. A native of Trinidad and Tobago, his coursework has given him the analytical and decision making skills he needs to have a positive influence on the working economy of his country.

As a senior student in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, James is majoring in Resource Economics with a minor in Geography and plans to graduate in December of this year. Throughout his undergraduate career, James focused his academic efforts in the area of Environmental Economics and Policy, which provides him the foundation he needs to effect change in natural resource and environmental policy issues within both the public and private sectors.
