At UConn: Broke his previous school records in the breaststroke events in his senior season... Owns the top time in the 100-yard breaststroke (54.65) and the 200-yard breaststroke (1:58.34)... Tabbed a team captain prior to his senior season, and he once again landed on the All-Conference team in his final year in Storrs... Swept the breaststroke events at the Bulgarian National Championships for the second straight year last summer... Won the 50,100 and 200-meter breaststroke and the 200 IM at the Bulgarian National Championships in 2013... Earned All-Conference honors as a junior... Named the American Athletic Conference Male Swimmer of the Week (Nov. 19, 2013) as a junior after winning both breaststroke events in UConn's meet against Pennsylvania (Nov. 9)...Was a Big East A- Finalist, 200 breaststroke record holder in his freshman year.
