BLACKSBURG, Pa. - Freshman Diguan Pigot (Miami, Fla.) won the B final of the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 56.07 seconds while senior Kyungsoo Yoon (Toronto, Ont.) finished second in two B finals as the University of Connecticut men’s swimming and diving team completed the second day of competition at the H2Okie Fall Invitational on Friday.
Virginia Tech leads the competition with 1,038 points while South Carolina is second with 710.5, UConn is third with 362.5 and William & Mary has 325.
UConn’s 200-yard medley relay team finished fifth in a time of 1:32.13.
Husky sophomore Sawywer Franz (Pine, Colo.) was seventh in the 400-yard IM in a time of 4:04.02.
Freshman John Brice (Bala Cynwood, Pa.) was sixth in the three-meter diving with 328.55 points.
Yoon was second in the 100-yard breaststroke B final in a time of 57.48 seconds and second in the 100-yard butterfly B final in 50.48 seconds.
