Trailing by a point as they entered the singles portion of the match, the Huskies won the first two scheduled singles matches in two sets. Goldstein claimed a 6-3, 6-2 decision over Alex Leeser for his second-straight victory of Leeser and his 10th win at No. 1 singles of the season.
