STORRS, Conn. - The UConn men's tennis team continued to volunteer in the community during the spring semester as the Huskies participated in Hoops for Hope, while also working with kids in the East Hartford area.

In February of 2011, the UConn men's tennis team volunteered at the Hoops for Hope, which is a non-profit organization that raises awareness and financial assistance for Zambian HIV/AIDS sufferers and their families.

The Huskies also volunteered at a local school in East Hartford, helping kids read and assisting them with their home work, while also participating in physical activities and games with the children.
