UConn Meet Results
NEW YORK, N.Y. - The UConn men's track team kicked off the 2018 Columbia Challenge with only a couple events on the docket.
The Huskies scored two points and a seventh place finish in the distance medley with a time of 9:52.32.
Sophomore Jordan Torney competed in the preliminaries for the 60 M hurdles and scored a 10th place finish (8.30 seconds). Teammate Benjamin Grosse also ran the prelims for the event and grabbed 18th with a finish of 9.02, a season-best for the freshman.
Tyler Moore was the only other Husky to compete on day one of the Columbia Challenge. Moore secured a 21st place finish in the preliminaries for the 60 M Dash (7.09).
The Huskies return with a full day of action on Saturday.
