Huskies Take 11th at IC4A Championships To End Season

STORRS, Conn.- The University of Connecticut men's cross country squad ended the 2011 season with an 11th place finish at the IC4A Championships on Saturday afternoon. The Huskies tallied 233 points as junior Nick Aguilaled the pack with a 13th overall place.

Aguila, a constant leader for Connecticut, crossed the finish line in 25:26 minutes for a 13th place finish as junior Jordan Magathwas close behind with a 34th place finish in a time of 25:50.

The two juniors were followed by senior co-captain Scott Johnson who took 47th place in 25:58, while sophomore Ryan McGuire came in 59th in 26:06 and freshman Bryan Fowlertook 80th in 26:29 to round out UConn runners in the top 100.

The final two Huskies were junior Joe Clark and sophomore Christain Kearns in 113th (27:14) and 116th (27:16), respectively.
