STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut men's cross country team released their fall schedule Thursday. The Huskies will compete in seven events as a team during the season with their final team event being the BIG EAST Championship to be held at Marquette at the end of October.
The Huskies begin their season on September 12 at the Fairfield Invitational with an 11:15 start time. They continue on the next week at the UMass Invitational in Amherst on September 19 followed by the Connecticut College Cross Country Invitational at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Conn. to end the month of September.
After a bye week, the team will be back in action at the New England Championship at Franklin Park in Boston followed by the Leopard Invitational hosted by Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. on October 17. In a final tune up before the BIG EAST Championship, the Huskies will compete at the Central Connecticut Mini Meet in New Britain, Conn. on the 24th of October and will round out the month, and their season at the BIG EAST Championships on Halloween in Terre Haute, Ind.
