Ways to Donate
The UConn Club accepts gifts of cash, check, money order, credit card (VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express)
Online: Online donations can be made using Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express. Click here to make a donation online.
Mail: 1.) Mail a check made payable to The UConn Foundation, Inc. - UCADF to P.O. Box 842614 Boston, MA 02284-2614. It is important to include your donor account number on your check and indicate the designation of your donation.
2.) Print and mail your 2013-14 Pledge Form. You can send your completed form to the UConn Club office via email email@example.com, fax (860) 486-3251 or mail to: UConn Club 2111 Hillside Road, Unit 1078 Storrs, CT 06269-1078.
Phone: Donations can be made over the phone with Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express at (860) 486-3863. Pledges cannot be made by phone.
Matching Gifts: Many employers will match contributions their employees make to charitable and educational organizations, providing you the opportunity to increase your gift to UConn Athletics. Please be aware that the employer establishes matching gift guidelines and reserves the right to modify them periodically. Therefore, your company's matching gift policy may reflect something different now than in past years. The donor is responsible for ensuring that all matching gift funds arrive in a timely fashion. Matching gifts cannot be used to pay football seat donations. All benefits from matching gifts including priority points, member benefits, and donor level will not be credited until the matching gift is received. Estate and Planned Gifts: There are a variety of ways to contribute to UConn Athletics through gift planning using appreciated assets, stocks, bonds, insurance policies, retirement plan assets and real estate. For additional information on estate and planned gifts, please call (860) 486-3863 or click here. Planned gifts are not eligible to earn priority points.
Donor Advised Funds: Gifts made from donor advised funds to support UConn Athletics are certainly welcomed. However, IRS regulations prohibit the use of donor advised funds for gifts that benefit the donor or any specific individual. Therefore, such gifts cannot be used to fulfill individual pledges and are not eligible for priority points or other donor benefits.
Gifts of Appreciated Securities: The IRS allows you one of its most significant tax breaks for gifts of appreciated securities. Click here for more information on how to transfer these assets to the UConn Foundation.
Memorial Gifts: Gifts can be made in memory of loved ones and friends for a purpose to be designated by the family. Please make checks payable to: The UCONN Foundation, Inc. - fund/sport with the name of the loved one in the memo line and forward to the following address: The UConn Foundation, Inc. 2390 Alumni Drive, Unit 3206 Storrs, CT 06269.
