A 2002 All-American, Cash was named the 2002 Final Four Most Outstanding player after posting 20 points and 13 rebounds in the national championship game, an 82-70 victory over Oklahoma that completed a 39-0 season. She broke the top ten in career scoring and ranked seventh all-time with 1,583 career points upon graduating. Cash posts a career averages of 11.9 ppg and 6.8 rpg. She was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2002 WNBA Draft by the Detroit Shock.
