2016-17 SEASON
Saw time in 31 games and earned six starting assignments … Averaged 6.1 points, 2.2 rebounds and was third on the team at 3.7 assists per game in only 24.0 minutes per contest … Scored in double-figures six times and dished-out at least four assists on 16 occasions … Scored a career-high 19 points and recorded five assists against only one turnover in the Huskies’ victory over No. 4/2 Baylor on November 17.  Dangerfield, who was playing in only her second collegiate game, was 8-14 from the field and also chased-down four rebounds in 30-minutes of action … Posted 16 points and six rebounds in her NCAA Tournament debut against Albany on March 18 ... Scored 12 points and registered a career-high tying nine assists against zero turnovers in UConn's regular-season finale victory over USF on February 27.  Followed that effort up with seven assists and zero turnovers in the American Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinal win over Tulsa on March 4.

Attended Blackman High in Murfreesboro where she is a member of the honor roll and Honors Program ... In her four seasons has led Blackman to a 119-12 record and the 2014 and 2015 Tennessee state 3A championships, compiling 2,186 points (school record), 507 rebounds, 503 assists and 362 steals ... Averaged 23.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.5 steals as a senior at Blackman (27-4) ... Named the 2016 Morgan Wootten Player of the Year … A 2016 Naismith High School Player of the Year finalist and All-America First Team honoree, as well as 2015 All-America third team pick ... Three-time Gatorade Tennessee Player of the Year (2014, 2015, 2016) and two-time Tennessee state tournament MVP as a sophomore and junior, as well as the District 7-AAA Player of the Year in both seasons ... a 2016 McDonald's All-American and Jordan Brand Classic All-American … helped Blackman to back-to-back state, district and regional titles her sophomore and junior years … Has played for USA Basketball's 2013 U-16 and the 2015 U-19 national teams. Was a teammate of UConn freshmen Katie Lou Samuelson and De'Janae Boykin on the 2013 U-16 team that won the gold medal at the FIBA Americas Championship in Cancun, Mexico, averaging 7.0 points, 1.8 assists, and 1.4 steals in five games. Was a teammate of UConn freshman Napheesa Collier on the 2015 U-19 team that won the gold medal at the FIBA U-19 world championships in Chekhov, Russia, averaging 6.4 points, 2.7 assists, and 2.0 steals in seven games ... First recruit from Tennessee to sign with UConn in coach Geno Auriemma's tenure.
