    Faris has been recognized by the BIG EAST twice as she earned an Honorable Mention nod in 2010-11 and was selected to the 2009-10 BIG EAST All-Rookie Team... After leading the Huskies in assists with 4.3 per game during the 2011-12 campaign Faris sits tied for eighth place in UConn's record book for individual single-season assists with 165... Her 165 assists are the third-highest of any Husky junior... She is atop the list of single-game mark of 3-point field goal percentage with 1.00 after going 4-for-4 against Iowa State on March 28, 2010 and is in a nine-way tie for 11th place in single-game made free throws with ten following a perfect 10-for-10 against Notre Dame on January 8, 2011... Faris's sophomore season is one of the best in UConn history as she is fifth in rebounds (256), sixth in assists (142) and sixth in most steals (70) by a sophomore.


    2011-12 SEASON
    Kelly Faris started every game for the Huskies in the 2011-12 season averaging 28.9 minutes per game... She visited the foul line in 28 of UConn's 38 contests and was one of the leading foul shooters with a 78.8 percentage...Faris recorded double-figures in 10 games, including the final three games of the Huskies run through the Final Four... She was perfect from the charity strip in six games, including going 6-for-6 against Dayton (11/27) en route to 10 points, five steals and four assists... Faris led the Huskies in assists (4.3 apg) and was second in steals (2.1 spg)... She knocked in 11 points and had a career-high six steals versus Pacific on 11/15... Against Buffalo (11/26) the junior tallied 13 points, six rebounds and three steals... Scored eight points, pulled down four rebounds and has four assists at Seton Hall on December 9... Dished out a season-high eight assists and added six rebounds at Baylor on 12/18... Registered 10 points, six assists and three steals at College of Charleston on December 21... Finished the West Virginia game on January 4 with 14 points, a team-high six steals and five assists... Netted six points, had six assists and four rebounds versus Providence (1/10)...     2010-11 SEASON
    Scored 15 points, pulled down nine rebounds and dished-out a career-high seven assists in a well-rounded effort against Holy Cross on November 14. Pulled down eight rebounds and registered five points and five assists in 30 minutes at Georgia Tech on 11/21. Scored seven points, while posting six rebounds and six assists against Howard on 11/26. Scored 13 points and grabbed six boards at USF on 12/2. Pulled down 10 rebounds to go along with five points and five assists vs. Sacred Heart on 12/5. Pulled down 10 rebounds vs. Ohio State on 12/19. Scored 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting, while adding seven assists at Pacific on 12/28. Netted 19 points in 34 minutes played in the Huskies' first loss in 91 games at Stanford on 12/30. Grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds vs. Villanova on 1/5. Tallied a career-high 20 points at Notre Dame on 1/8. Tallied 13 points in 35 minutes at St. John's on 1/12. Pulled down 12 rebounds and netted seven points against Louisville on 1/15. Had eight points, eight assists and seven rebounds at Cincinnati on 1/29. Shot 5-of-9 from the floor and 4-of-6 from behind the arc for 14 points vs. Duke on 1/31. Tallied nine points, seven rebounds, five assists and four steals vs. Oklahoma on 2/14. Grabbed 11 rebounds and had six assists vs. Seton Hall on 2/22. Pulled down 12 rebounds vs. Georgetown on 3/6.     Saw time in all 39 of UConn's games, averaging 18.9 minutes per game off the bench ... chased down at least five rebounds 12 times ... Averaged 6.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game during Connecticut's six NCAA Tournament contests. Also shot a sizzling 63.6 percent (7-fo-11) during the 2010 NCAA Tournament ...
