A member of the 2013 Big East All-Rookie Team, Jefferson has put together progressively finer seasons over her last three years, culminating in unanimous All-America status and being honored as the WBCA National Defensive Player of the Year in 2015-16 ... Finished her career as UConn’s all-time assists leader with 659 career helpers … Her 204 assists during her senior year marked a career high and was the fourth-highest single-season total in school history ... Her 195 helpers in 2013-14 is the sixth-highest single-season mark in school history while her 191 helpers in 2014-15 is the seventh-best single-season total ... Jefferson has also shown great proclivity for taking care of the ball and was fifth nationally with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.1-1 during the 2014-15 season ... The Glenn Heights, Texas native led the team with 100 steals during her junior season and became only the second Husky all-time to record back-to-back years with at least 100 steals, joining Nykesha Sales and Rita Williams ... Her 353 career thefts ranks second in UConn history ... Joined Sue Bird (2000, 2001, 2002) Diana Taurasi (2003, 2004) and Renee Montgomery (2009) in as Huskies to be honored with the Nancy Lieberman Award, which honors the nation's top point guard. Jefferson won the honor in 2015 and 2016 and was a finalist for the award in 2014 ... Earned a spot on the Women's Basketball Coaches and United States Basketball Writers Association All-America Teams during her junior and senior year while also earning mention as an Associated Press Second Team selection in 2014-15 and as a First Team honoree in 2015-16 ... Jefferson's 191 assists during the 2014-15 season were the most by a UConn junior.
Saw action in 37 games for the Huskies and earned 36 starts at the point … Third on the team at 12.6 points on 55.7 percent shooting, including 43.1 percent from deep, and led the team at 5.5 assists and 2.6 steals per contest … Scored in double-figures 28 times and dished-out at least seven assists on 12 occasions … Opened the season in style, scoring 21 points on 10-15 shooting to go along with four assists in the win at Ohio State on November 16 … Notched a career high-tying 25 points, once again on 10-15 shooting, to go along with eight assists and eight steals at Temple on February 14 … Dished-out a season-best nine assists at DePaul on December 2 and in the NCAA regional final win over Texas on March 28. Those 18 combined assists came against only five turnovers … Earned a spot on the All-NCAA Tournament team once again, averaging 12.5 points and 6.2 assists against only 1.8 turnovers per contest during UConn’s six-game run to its fourth-straight national championship. Shot a scintillating 49.6 percent from beyond the 3-point arc (56-113) but did not meet the NCAA minimum for 3-point field goals made to qualify statistically ... Led the team with 191 assists, against only 62 turnovers, and with 100 thefts ... Made free throws at an 84.3 percent (43-51) clip ... Averaged 14.9 points on 65.1 percent shooting in UConn's 10 postseason games, including a career effort in the Huskies' NCAA Regional Semifinal win over Texas on March 28. Jefferson poured in a career-high 25 points on 10-12 shooting against the Longhorns while dishing-out six assists and recording three steals ... Broke out of an early-season slump in UConn's win over SMU on December 27 with a 24-point, five-steal performance in only 26-minutes of action against the Mustangs ... Netted 22 points, on 8-9 shooting, to go along with five rebounds, four assists and four steals in 25 minutes in the win against Tulsa on January 7 ... Posted the first double-double of her career, in front of about 100 family and friends, with an 11-point, 10-assist effort during the win at SMU on January 11 ... Selected as a member of the All-NCAA Tournament Team along with teammates Breanna Stewart and Morgan Tuck.

A member of the All-BIG EAST Rookie Team, Jefferson played in all 39 contests for the Huskies and earned a pair of starts ... Averaged 4.7 points in 17.4 minutes per game while dishing-out 69 assists against 49 turnovers. Her assists total was the sixth-highest mark on the team ... Scored in double-figures eight times, including three times during the NCAA Tournament ... Scored a career-high 13 points and was 6-7 from the floor during the 105-49 victory at Providence (Feb. 12) ... Tallied at least three assists on 12 different occasions ... Earned double-digit minutes in all six of UConn's NCAA Tournament contests, averaging 6.8 points and 2.0 assists per game while shooting .528 percent from the floor in 19.8 minutes per contest ... Played with the Texas Home Educators Sports Association (THESA) as a homeschooled athlete where she amassed 3,354 points, 825 rebounds and 728 steals in her career. Started competing with the THESA as an eighth grader ... Averaged 17.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.63 assists and 4.0 steals per game in 2011-12, leading the Raiders to a 41-6 record ... Helped lead the Riders to five NCHBC Texas Region titles and five NCHBC national championships ...
