Played in 33 games for UConn and was in the starting lineup for all of those contests … Was forced to miss four games due to a stress reaction in her right ankle, which she suffered in the win over No. 6/6 South Carolina on February 13 … Averaged 12.7 points per contest and led the American Athletic Conference by connecting on three-point field goals at a 46.2 percent clip … Also led the league in free throw percentage at 85.5 percent and was fourth in the conference with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.6-to-1 … Third on the team with 128 assists … Scored in double-figures 20 times and posted a career-high 33 points in only 27-minutes of action in the win over No. 15/14 DePaul on December 1. The 2016-17 Conference Preseason Player of the Year was 12-16 from the floor and dished-out three assists against the Blue Demons … Put together another outstanding effort in the NCAA Tournament second round win over Syracuse on March 20 when she scored 29 points on 10-13 shooting, including 9-12 from long-range, to go along with six assists. The nine three-point field goals tied an NCAA Tournament single-game record and came on the heels of her 24-point performance in the NCAA Tournament first round win over Albany two days earlier … Continued her strong play in the NCAA Tournament with an 11-point, seven-assist effort in the regional final win over Oregon on March 27. Nurse concluded the NCAA Tournament with 22 made three-point field goals, which established a new record for a single NCAA Tournament.
The only team member to start every game for UConn, Nurse was fifth on the team at 9.3 points per game and was one of four Huskies to accumulate at least 100 assists. She was fourth on the team with 104 helpers ... Scored in double-figures 15 times, including a season-high and career-high tying 20 points against East Carolina on February 6. She was 8-11 from the field, including 4-7 from long-range, to go along with four assists against the Pirates ... Fourth on the team with 19 assists during UConn's six NCAA Tournament games and turned it over only four times ... Opened the season in style with a 16-point, three-rebound effort in the win at No. 7/10 Ohio State on November 16 ... Best performances generally came against ranked teams as Nurse averaged 12.3 points and shot 56.4 percent from beyond the 3-point arc against ranked opponents.

Led St. Thomas More to gold at the AAAA OFSAA Championship in 2012 and 2013 ... Also won five-straight Provincial Championships with her Transway team and two National Championships with Team Ontario ... Selected as the Tournament MVP on both occasions ... Team finished third in the World Qualifiers and also took third in the World Championships with Team Canada ... Won two Hazel Minor Awards and two Player of the Year Honors for Basketball Ontario ... Selected as the St. Thomas Moore Athlete of the Year during her freshman and sophomore years and was honored as her soccer team's MVP in 2012 ... Starred on Team Canada's FIBA Americas U16 Championships in 2011 and the U17 World Championships in 2012 ... Additionally, Nurse was averaged 10.0 points per game as Team Canada finished second in the 2013 FIBA Americas Championship, helping Team Canada clinch a spot in the World Championship in 2014.
