Scored a career-high 32 points on 12-of-16 shooting in UConn's 117-37 season-opening victory over Holy Cross on November 14. Hayes' 30-point first-half effort marked the most points a Husky has ever scored in any half. The previous record belonged to Kerry Bascom, who scored 29 points on March 16, 1991 in an NCAA Tournament victory against Toledo ... Launched a career-high 20 field goal attempts in the 65-64 win against No. 2 Baylor on 11/16. Hayes was only 5-of-20 from the field (0-for-7 from deep) but she connected on a couple of clutch free throws down the stretch against Baylor. Dished out six assists along with pulling down six rebounds at Georgia Tech on 11/21. Had seven points and six rebounds against Howard on 11/26. Registered 14 points and nine rebounds against Lehigh on 11/27. Netted 20 points and dished out seven assists against LSU on 11/28. Scored 12 points and grabbed seven boards in 38 minutes of work at USF on 12/2. Led UConn with 18 points, while adding four rebounds and four assists against Sacred Heart on 12/5. Netted 16 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the floor vs. Marquette on 12/9. Netted a team-high 26 points, while adding four steals and four assists against Ohio State (12/19) in the Maggie Dixon Classic at MSG to mark UConn's 88th consecutive victory. In UConn's 89th straight win, Hayes netted 14 points, while dishing out seven assists against Florida State on 12/21. Scored 14 points at Pacific on 12/28. Played just 24 minutes and scored three points in the Huskies' first loss in 91 games at Stanford on 12/30. Netted a game-high 22 points on 6-of-7 shooting against Villanova on 1/5. Was 4-of-9 from the floor for 11 points at Notre Dame on 1/8. Tallied 21 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including a 5-of-8 clip from behind the arc, at St. John's on 1/12. Played one minute against Louisville on 1/15 before coming out of the game due to an injury. Netted 29 points to surpass the 1,000-point mark at North Carolina on 1/17. Scored nine points and grabbed eight rebounds vs. Pitt on 1/22. Tallied 18 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the floor at Rutgers on 1/26. Had 16 points and three steals at Cincinnati on 1/29. Netted 20 points in UConn's dominating win over No. 3 Duke on 1/31. Tallied 12 points and three steals vs. DePaul on 2/5. Was held to four points in 23 minutes as she fouled out with 4:37 left in the contest at WVU on 2/8. Tallied 13 points, five assists and seven rebounds vs. Oklahoma on 2/14. Scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds vs. Notre Dame on 2/19. Had 10 points and grabbed six rebounds vs. Seton Hall on 2/22. Netted 18 points vs. Syracuse on 2/28. Tallied 10 points in UConn's win over Georgetown on 3/6 in the BIG EAST Championship Quarterfinals. Has played all 40 minutes of a contest twice in her career - both coming in 2010-11 against Georgetown (2/26 and 3/6). Had 10 points against Notre Dame in the BIG EAST Championship Final on 3/8.
