During the April 3, 2011 Final Four showdown with Notre Dame, the Irish snapped UConn’s string of 263 consecutive games without allowing an opponent to shoot over .500 from the field. The Irish shot 51.9 percent in the national semifinal victory over the Huskies. Notre Dame is the only opponent in the last 433 games to shoot over 50 percent from the floor against UConn.
