UConn and Monmouth have only met one time before today, which was an 83-64 Hawks' victory on January 29, 1983. The game was played in the Greer Fieldhouse on the Storrs campus.

UConn has now won 50 consecutive games when playing in a regular season tournament. They have not lost a regular season tournament game since December 29, 1992 against Vanderbilt (57-37).

All seven Huskies' wins this season have come by 17 points or more, including victories over No. 3 Stanford, No. 7 Maryland, and No. 13 Penn State.

The Huskies started the game on a 20-5 run in the first five minutes of play. Brianna Banks scored the first eight points of the game, including two shots from long range.

In just the first half against the Hawks, junior guard Brianna Banks surpassed her season-high for points with 11, picking up her 12th career double-figure game in the process.

With her 24-point effort against the Hawks, Breanna Stewart has now scored 20 or more points in three straight games and has four 20-point games on the season.

UConn surpassed its season-high for first half points against Monmouth with 64. The previous high was 62 points against Oregon on November 20.

The Huskies outscored the Hawks 26-4 in the paint in the first half, while also holding a 12-5 advantage for second-chance points.

Moriah Jefferson made 3 three-point field goals, setting a new personal career-high in a single game. Jefferson's 17 points also tied her career best.

For the first eight minutes of the second half, UConn went on a 21-0 run and opened up a 61-point lead over the Hawks.

With 10 three-point field goals in the game, the Huskies surpassed their season-high of 9 against Boston University and Penn State.

A 14-point game from Huskies' center Kiah Stokes surpasses her season-high of 12 against Oregon and matches her career-high of 14 (vs. Idaho in '12-'13 season). Stokes also recorded her third double-double of the year by adding a team-high 11 rebounds to the winning effort.

UConn scored 32 points off 17 Hawks' turnovers, while Monmouth converted 10 Huskies' turnovers into only 8 points.

The Huskies dished out 27 assists against the Hawks, which is the second highest total they have had this season. Bria Hartley and Breanna Stewart led the team with six assists each.

With the 100-46 win, UConn has now scored 100 or more points twice this season (114-68 win over Oregon).

Breanna Stewart's final stat line was 24 points, eight rebounds, six assists, two blocks, and four steals.
