STORRS, Conn.-Saturday, Jan. 28, the No. 3 Huskies welcome BIG EAST opponent South Florida (12-9, 4-3 BIG EAST) to the XL Center in Hartford, Conn. for a 1 p.m. tipoff. The game will be televised on CPTV with Mark Brown on the play-by-play and Meghan Culmo on the call.

UConn (18-2, 7-1 BIG EAST) returns home after a two-game road stint and is back at the XL Center for the first time since its defeat of Providence on January 10. At Saturday’s game, the Huskies will sport camouflage shirts during warm-ups for Military Appreciation Day.

In the last meeting between the Huskies and Bulls, UConn walked away with an 80-54 victory as they have been perfect against USF with a 10-0 all-time record. The Huskies current leading scorer, senior guard Tiffany Hayes, has registered double-figures in her past two meetings with the Bulls.

Hayes is averaging 15.7 points per game after leading Connecticut to a 95-54 win at Syracuse where she tallied a new career-high with 35 points.
