STORRS, Conn. - Less than 500 tickets remain for the No. 3/2 University of Connecticut women's basketball team's showdown with No. 1/1 Baylor, which is set for Monday, February 18 at 9 p.m. at the XL Center in Hartford.

Hartley's 25 Not Enough As No. 2 UConn Falls To No. 1 Baylor, 66-61
Top-ranked Baylor pushed past No. 2 Connecticut 66-61 on Sunday night. Bria Hartley led Connecticut (9-1) with 25 points, while Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis had 15.

The Huskies enter Saturday’s game with a 23-1 overall record and a 10-1 mark in BIG EAST play.  UConn extended its winning streak to 11 games following a 105-49 win at Providence on Tuesday.  Connecticut will square-off against Rutgers in New Jersey, on Saturday at 4 p.m., prior to the Baylor game.   

Baylor also enters the weekend with a 23-1 record and is a spotless 13-0 in Big 12 play.  The Lady Bears have won 21-straight since suffering their lone loss to Stanford on November 16 in Hawaii. 

UConn is 2-1 all-time against the Lady Bears, including a 70-50 victory over Baylor in the 2010 NCAA National Semifinal.  Most recently, Baylor defeated UConn by a 66-61 count on December 18, 2011 in Waco, Texas.  In Baylor’s only other visit to the XL Center, then No. 1 UConn defeated the then No. 2 Lady Bears by a slim 65-64 margin on November 16, 2010.
