    NORFOLK, Va. -
    The University of Connecticut women's basketball team spent Monday preparing for Temple University as the Huskies will face at the Owls on Tuesday night in NCAA Tournament second round action.

    UConn (34-0) and Temple (25-8) will collide on Tuesday in a 7:06 p.m. (ET) tip on ESPN2 at the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Va.

    No. 1 seed UConn advances to the second round of the tournament for the 17th straight season following its 95-39 victory over No. 16 seed Southern University (La.) in the first round on Sunday. No. 8 seed Temple enters Tuesday night's contest after a 65-53 win over No. 9 James Madison in the opening round.

    Tuesday night's second round winner will move on to the Dayton Regional Semifinals on Sunday, March 28.

    Fans should be advised that ESPN2 will be utilizing "whip around" coverage for Tuesday's NCAA action. Fans in Connecticut looking to see the game in its entirety, will need to watch on the standard definition ESPN2 as the network will be featuring "whip around" coverage on its HD channel.
