NASHVILLE - The University of Connecticut women's basketball team spent its first full day in beautiful Nashville, Tennessee, which started with practice Vanderbilt University and included a full media slate at Bridgestone Arena.

UConn made the short drive from downtown to Vanderbilt University's Memorial Gymnasium, where the team spent the morning practicing. The five starters then made their way to Bridgestone Arena for interviews with Westwood One, ESPN and NCAA.com. Later tonight, all four teams will be hosted by the NCAA at the annual Salute Dinner.
