STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's basketball team will be featured as part of ESPN's third-annual College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon when the two-time defending national champions square-off against Baylor on Tuesday, November 16 in the State Farm Women's Tip-Off Classic. Game time is set for 6 p.m. at the XL Center in Hartford and will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
The Tip-Off Marathon will include a total of 20 college basketball games in a minimum of 25.5 hours.
The UConn/Baylor tilt, the only women's basketball contest on the slate, will be a rematch of last year's national semifinal showdown between the two squads. The Huskies downed the Lady Bears by a 70-50 count en route to their seventh national championship. UConn will enter the contest on a 78-game winning streak.
