STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's basketball team encouraged fans to bring food donations to last weekend’s games at Gampel Pavilion and UConn Country once again proved to be extremely generous.
Women’s basketball student-athletes were at the South and East entrances of Gampel Pavilion to assist with the donations pregame on Friday, November 22 and Saturday November 23 and the team ended up filling up a box truck with food. Donations benefitted the Hockanum Valley Community Council.
