    The No. 2 Connecticut women's hoops squad is set to travel to intrastate foe Hartford (8-2) on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Huskies enter the contest with a 9-0 record coming off a 97-25 win over Oakland on Tuesday. The game will be televised regionally on SNY and broadcasted live on the UConn Radio Network.

    No. 1 Huskies Easily Advance to NCAA Second Round, Dispatch Hawks, 75-39
    Stefanie Dolson scored all 12 of her points in the first half to lead a balanced Connecticut offense, and the top-seeded Huskies routed Hartford 75-39 on Sunday in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Maya Moore, Bria Hartley and Tiffany Hayes added 12 points each for the Huskies (33-1).

    The Huskies and Hawks, coached by former UConn great Jen Rizzotti, will be meeting for 13th time with UConn owning a 12-0 all-time mark over Hartford. When UConn head coach Geno Auriemma faces former assistant coaches/players he is 13-0.

    In Connecticut's Tuesday win, freshman Breanna Stewart led the way with her second double-double tying her career-high of 21 points and setting a new career-high with 13 rebounds. She is currently the leading rebounder (7.2 rpg) and is second on the team with 15.8 points per game. UConn's scoring leader is sophomore Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis who is averaging 15.9 points per game and has a team-high 21 made 3-pointers.

    Following Saturday's game the Huskies will head west to top-ranked Stanford for a 4 p.m. ESPNU contest on December 29.
