2016: Started all 24 games for the Huskies at center back…Provided the defensive backbone all season for UConn…Named First Team All-American, All-Mideast Region First Team, All-Big East First Team and All-Big East Co-Defensive Player of the Year…Scored a career-high 13 goals throughout the season…Two multi-goal games, including a pair of scores in a 2-1 win over Old Dominion on Sept. 16…Scored game-winning goal with expired time against Old Dominion…Season-high five-game scoring streak from Oct. 16 to Oct. 30…Earned a spot on the All-Big East Tournament Team…Two-time Big East Defensive Player of the Week (Aug. 29 and Sept. 19) and three-time honor roll recipient…Helped the UConn defense post six shut outs and allow just 1.22 goals per game – fifth-best average in Division I.

Started in every game for the Huskies...Finished the season with 11 goals and six assists...Anchored UConn's back line that boasted 15 shutouts...Found the back of the net once against #20 Old Dominion (11/6)...Tallied a pair of goals against Providence (10/23)...Had five points on two goals and one assist in 8-0 win over Temple (10/9)...Totaled four points on two goals in victory over Villanova (10/3)…Scored against Yale (10/4), Lafayette (9/20) and #10 Boston College (9/13)…Recorded her first goal of the season and an assist in shutout win over New Hampshire (9/11)…Dished an assist in victories over California (9/27), Columbia (9/6), Quinnipiac (9/4) and Northeastern (8/29)…Had defensive saves against #9 Stanford (9/25) and #10 Northwestern (8/28).

2014: Earned starts in each of the 23 games.. A notable weapon on the Huskies' penalty corner attempts, she tallied an impressive 27 points with nine goals and nineassists, including an assist on the game-winner in UConn's 1-0 victory over Syracuse on Nov. 23...Recorded a season best five points in UConn's 4-0 defeat of Old Dominion (Oct.10) contributing two goals and an assist...Registered a pair of goals in a total of three contests this season... Earned a spot on the Big East Honor Roll for the week of Oct. 13... Chipped in two assists in UConn's Big East Tournament clinching win over Temple on Nov. 9.

2013: Saw action in 16 games for the Huskies, earning eight starts... Tallied her first collegiate goal against Yale (Nov. 3) which proved to be the game-winner... Was one of 10 different Huskies to find the back of the net during the 2013 season...Completed the year with a .579 shot-on-goal percentage.

High School: Competed at the International School of Bremen for former Husky great Loren Sherer ... Selected to the All-County Team and for the U16 Youth National Team ... Played for the U18 Team, which advanced to the National Finals of the German U18 Championship ... Also competed on the tennis team.

Personal: Anna Louisa Middendorf ... Father is Kay Middendorf and mother is Sarah Middendorf ... A political science major ... Born Jan. 24, 1996 in Bremen, Germany ... Member of the Secondary School Leaders Society and won the Literature Prize while at the International School.
