    Bolles and Davidson Selected to Compete at the USA Field Hockey U21 National Championship

    STORRS, Conn. – Senior forward Marie Elena Bolles and junior midfielder Chrissy Davidson, both University of Connecticut field hockey standouts, have been selected to compete at the USA Field Hockey U21 Women's National Championship, June 20-25, in Norfolk, Va. Competitors at this event will vie for spots at the Junior National Team Camp that will send a team to the Women's Junior World Cup in Germany, July 27-Aug. 4.

    Bolles finished 2012 third on the team with 12 goals, eight assists and 32 points.  She was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year and scored one of her team-high tying six game-winning goals in the final second of the 2012 BIG EAST Championship Final to clinch the victory for the Huskies.

    Davidson started in all 22 games for the Huskies last season, scoring two goals and tied for the team lead with 11 assists.
