STORRS, Conn. - Over 200 supporters gathered outside the iconic Jonathan the Husky statue at the University of Connecticut on Wednesday morning to send the No 1. UConn field hockey team off to the Final Four in style. The Huskies headed to Louisville, Ky for the final leg of their quest to the programs' fifth national title, with the national semifinal game slated to begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17 against North Carolina.

UConn practiced at the Sherman-Family Complex on Wednesday morning before catching the bus to the airport in front of a proud group of UConn Nation fans. Before their departure, the team took the time to thank everyone who took time out of their day to give the Huskies a great send off!
