Chuli Recognized for Academic Achievement

STORRS, Conn. -- The 2016 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Women’s At-Large Teams were released Thursday to recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically, and in the classroom.

Recently graduated senior, Elaine Chuli (Waterford, Ont.) was named to the District 1 Academic All-District Women’s At-large Team for Division I athletics.

An American Hockey Coaches Association Second Team All-American, Chuli was one of 11 athletes named to the Division I Women’s At-Large Team for District 1. In addition to setting numerous records on the ice, Chuli finished her academic career with a 3.85 GPA and graduated with a degree in accounting.

First-team Academic All-District honorees will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballot, where first, second and third team All-America honorees will be determined later this month.
