Before UConn: Carly Palmucci was a four-year starter and a two-year captain for Oakton High School, the 2012 Virginia State, Northern Region and Concorde District Champions... In her high school career, Palmucci tallied 189 goals and 178 assists and was named the Northern Region and Concorde District Offensive Player of the Year... She was selected as a two-time All-American by US Lacrosse (1st Team 2012, Honorable Mention 2011) and named All-American by ESPN Rise... Palmucci was twice named to the Washington Post's All Metropolitan team (1st Team 2012, 2nd Team 2011), three times All Northern Region and four times to the All Concorde District teams... ESPN Rise ranked Palmucci the No. 13 attacker and the No. 48 overall player nationally... Inside Lacrosse listed Palmucci among the top 40 players nationally and she participated in the Champion All-American Showcase... She was a two-time Under Armour Under Class All-Star and a three-time Women's Division National Tournament team selection for the DC Metro team... Additionally, Palmucci played for the M&D Lacrosse Club that won 19 tournament championships and was named 1st All-Galaxy and to the Evolution All-Tournament teams.
