Huskies host Oregon on Tuesday at 4 p.m.

STORRS, Conn.- The UConn lacrosse team is back in action on Tuesday when they welcome Oregon to the George J. Sherman Family Sports Complex for a 4 p.m. contest. The Huskies are coming off their first loss of the season after falling 18-7 at Syracuse as UConn now owns a 6-1 (0-1 BIG EAST) record. The Ducks enter Storrs on a three-game losing streak and a 4-4 overall mark.
Lauren Kahn, second in the conference in points per game (4.43), has been the consistent leader for the Huskies and leads the team in nearly every category, including goals (16), assists (15), points (31), ground balls (18), draw controls (30) and caused turnovers (13). Shannon Nee (5-1) has been the main Husky keeper defending the net playing all seven games where she has made 34 saves and has a 9.87 goals against average.
During their stellar season, the Huskies are outscoring opponents 13.57 to 8.86 and possess an impressive 83.5 shot on goal percentage. Other categories where the Huskies have significantly outplayed their foes include shots per game (26.9) and assists (7.1).
