STORRS, Conn. - The BIG EAST handed out their end of season awards on Wednesday and a pair of Huskies found themselves with spots on the all-conference team. Junior Grace Nolan (Marcellus, N.Y.) was named to the All-BIG EAST first team while senior Jacqueline Jordan (Los Gatos, Calif.) took home second team honors.
Nolan, a three-time all-conference pick, makes her way on to the first team for the second-straight season. She led the conference in points finishing the year with 77. She guided the UConn offense with 4.89 points per-game, including 2.78 goals and 2.11 assists per outing. Her 77 points were second in the UConn record book for points in a season while she tied her goal output from last season with 44. Her 33 assists was second in the UConn record book.
Jordan finished the year with 52 points on 40 goals and 12 assists. She finished the season ranked eighth in the BIG EAST averaging 2.50 goals per game. She also led the Huskies in draw controls, with 41 on the season.
