Nolan Garners All-ECAC Second Team Honors

UConn lacrosse standout Grace Nolan has added to her post-season awards tally with All-ECAC Second Team honors, as announced by the organization on Thursday.

The attacker led all players in the BIG EAST with 102 points and 72 goals on the year. Her 6.00 points per game and 4.24 goals per game each sit top four in the country, while her 30 assists and 21 free position goals rank top four in the league. Nolan finished 2018 with 37 draws, 36 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers.

A native of Marcellus, N.Y., she set new program records as she became UConn’s all-time leader in points (285) and goals (186). She boasted a single season record of 102 points and 72 goals scored this season, while on two occasions notching a single game record of 11 points against Butler (March 8) and Cincinnati (April 13). Additionally, her eight goals against Butler, Cincinnati and No. 23 Georgetown (April 18) matched a program best.

Nolan, who was tabbed the 2018 BIG EAST Attacker of the Year, graduates as the BIG EAST’s all-time leader in career points (150) and goals (99). Nolan leaves Storrs as a three-time IWLCA All-Northeast Region selection, a four-time All-BIG EAST honoree and a two-time BIG EAST Attacker of the Year winner.
