The Huskies are coming off of their best season in program history.

STORRS, Conn. – Connecticut head coach Katie Woods announced the 2013 fall schedule, which features several playdays starting with the Beanpot Tournament at Harvard September 29th.
UConn is coming off of its best season in program history after finishing last year 13-5 and making the NCAA Tournament for the first time. The Huskies accomplished another first as well after winning all seven home games at the George J. Sherman Sports Complex.
Following the Bean Pot Tournament, UConn will play five more times starting October 4th when it hosts Holy Cross for a scrimmage starting at 7 p.m. The Huskies then visit Fairfield October 6th for the Connecticut Playday. UConn defeated the Stags last season on the road 12-11 in overtime.
After another road playday against Princeton October 12th, Connecticut will hold its alumni game and team banquet on October 19th. The game is set to start at 12 p.m.
The fall schedule wraps up with a playday October 26th against Boston College, who UConn defeated
13-8 last season. The victory was Connecticut’s first win over a ranked team since the Huskies beat
No. 18 Stanford 16-10 in 2007.
