The Huskies will return to action on March 18 with a scrimmage against Miami
The Huskies finished eighth overall in a field of 61 entries, guaranteeing them an entry for next year.
The Huskies had one of their strongest showings at the Head of the Riverfront by winning the college 8+, college novice 8+, and college 4+ events.
Junior Laura Webster named First Team All-Central Region.
UConn's varsity eight and second varsity eight both finished in third place.
AT UCONN: Is in her third year as a member of the team ... a transfer from Eastern Connecticut State University.
2013-14: CRCA All-Central Region First Team member ... Competed as a member of the first varsity eight; finished the season as seven seat in the first varsity eight that placed third at the American Athletic Conference Championship. Also competed as four seat of the first varsity eight at the Head of the Riverfront, and the Championship Eight at the Head of the Charles and the Head of the Schuylkill.
2012-13: Competed as a member of the first and second varsity eights, and varsity four; finished the season as six seat of the varsity eight. Did not compete in the fall season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Seymour High School ... earned three varsity letters as a member of the track and field team ... was All-Naugatuck Valley League in junior and senior year in discus ... was number three in Class M discus in junior year ... holds school record in discus ... was awarded Most Outstanding Female Thrower in the Naugatuck Valley League in 2011 ... earned Dean's List at Eastern Connecticut.
