SWALLOW ON ROWING AT UCONN: "Rowing has been so beneficial in my life. Psychically pushing yourself to the limit ever day helps you learn who you can be as an athlete. It helped me discover how much you can succeed when you put the work in and do the little things right. UConn Rowing has always been my crutch, it's been something for me to lean on when things aren't going as planned. The girls on this team have done a lot more for me than they know and have been amazing teammates. I want to thank all the coaches for believing in me and truly bettering my rowing experience because of all they've done. I've learned so much about myself from this team and this sport that I can say walking onto this team has been an extremely rewarding experience. It's something that I will cherish for life.
