Katie Visentin is in her first year as a graduate assistant coach of the University of Connecticut rowing team in 2012-2013.
Visentin, a UConn 2011 graduate, was a three year member of the team. As a transfer sophomore walk-on, she rowed four seat of the first novice eight that placed third at the Knecht Cup Regatta, second at the BIG EASTChampionship and first at the Dad Vail Regatta.
A native of Cheshire, Conn., she earned her bachelor's degree in communications and sport promotion, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in sport management. At UConn, Visentin assists with the novice/walk-on and varsity squads.
