Allyson Zoppa Last College: UConn '08 Position: Assistant Coach

Allyson Zoppa is in her fourth year as a member of the Husky coaching staff in 2011-12. Zoppa is a former student-athlete with the program.

A 2008 UConn graduate, Zoppa works primarily with the walk-on rowers. As a sophomore, she stroked UConn's lightweights to a silver medal in the second varsity four at the BIG EAST Championship. She was also a member of the novice eight that placed third at the 2005 Big East Championship and Dad Vail Regatta. A native of East Hartford, Conn., she earned her degree in human development and family studies with minors in English and psychology.

She has coached rowers of all ages the past five years with the Riverfront Recapture Rowing Program in Hartford.
