CAMDEN, N.J. -- The University of Connecticut women’s rowing team concluded competition at the Knecht Cup on the Cooper River on Sunday.
UConn’s second varsity eight won the third final in a time of 6:57.37 as it topped Old Dominion, North Carolina, Miami, West Virginia and New Hampshire.
The UConn varsity four finished third in the third final with a time of 8:10.01. West Virginia won the race followed by Army as UConn topped Buffalo, Rutgers and Temple.
The Husky second novice eight was second in that race with a time of 7:43.61 as Marist was first and Temple was third.
The UConn novice four was fourth in the petite final in a time of 7:18.20. Bucknell won the race followed by Lehigh and Buffalo while UConn topped Marist and Duke.
UConn’s varsity eight was sixth in the third final in a time of 6:55.72.
