    WORCSETER, Mass. - The University of Connecticut rowing team raced against Boston College and Holy Cross on Saturday in a home meet for Holy Cross at Lake Quinsigamond.

    In the varsity eight race, UConn was second in a time of 6:54.4 while Boston College was first in 6:47.5 and Holy Cross was third in 7:03.3.

    The UConn varsity eight lineup was Charlotte Kelley (cox), Audrey Kelley (stroke), Natalie Carlone (seven), Abbie Viner (six), Heather Norris (five), Laura Webster, (four), Julia Roth (three), Haley Ullinger (two) and Erin Mounce (bow).

    In the second varsity eight race, Boston College won in a time of 6:55.0 while UConn was second in 7:04.7 and Holy Cross was third in 7:34.2.

    The boat for UConn was Elise McCormick (cox), Christine Latona (stroke), Diana Gryszkiewicz (seven), Julia Calise (six), Mikayla Hudson (five), Teresa Starzecki (four), Dani Wrubel (three), Chelsea Zabel (two) and Meg Duva (bow).

     

     

    Boston College took the top two spots in the varsity four with its B team coming in a 7:29.8 and it's a team at 7:39.6. UConn B was third in 8:07.9 and the UConn A was 8:09.8.

    The UConn A boat was Alex Coults (cox), Arielle Sherman (stroke), Amanda Litty (three), Ashley West (two) and Sarah Mosure (bow). The UConn B boat was Abi Lowry (cox), Olivia Durham (stroke), Emily Powers (three), Brenna Conrad (two) and Hannah Soucie (bow).

    The Eagles again took the top two spots in the novice four with their A team coming in at 8:08.9 and B at 8:14.8 while UConn was third at 8:36.9 and Holy Cross fourth at 9:06.6.

    BC B won the novice eight in 7:17.5 while BC A was second in 7:22.8 while Holy Cross was third in 7:49.0 and UConn fourth in 7:52.2.

    The UConn novice eight lineup was Olivia Schipani (cox), Caitie Parsons (stroke), Kiersten Kronschnabel (seven), Chi Mokwuah (six), Erika Smith (five), Sarah Norman (four), Mackenzie Freeland (three), Anna Fetteroll (two) and Kathleen Snajder (bow).

    The Huskies return to action on Saturday when the travel to Bucknell to take on Bucknell and Delaware.
