STORRS, Conn. – The UConn rowing team has made an adjustment to the schedule, as river flooding has cancelled Friday’s race at UMass in Amherst. No makeup date is planned.
For the Huskies, coming off an overall solid outing at the Knecht Cup in West Windsor, N.J. this past weekend, it is the second time the UMass race has been cancelled – including the original date of March 31.
However, UConn will race Holy Cross on Saturday morning beginning at 10:40 a.m. (ET), as the spring season continues to roll toward the American Athletic Conference Championship on May 13 in Sarasota, Fla.
The Huskies and Crusaders will compete on Lake Quinsigamond.
